I can only share what I've personally experienced. When a video gets instantly rejected, there's nothing you can do no matter the edit (mirrored image, cropped, blurred watermarks, etc). But sometimes, yes, editing can get the video accepted, it's a coin flip. I don't know how it works. You just gotta test it and see. Either way it's time-consuming and demotivating...
